Class of the Month: Fit 4 Life

What is it?

Fit 4 Life is a six-week exercise programme specifically aimed at men and women who are over the age of 55.

What can I expect from Fit 4 Life sessions?

The classes slightly vary each week, according to members’ preferences, abilities and any health conditions they may have.

The aim of these sessions is to provide members with the chance to exercise with people of a similar age to them in a friendly and welcoming environment. Members can take part in the classes at their own pace.

Three key benefits of taking part in Fit 4 Life

  1. Exercise, such as The Studio’s Fit 4 Life sessions, is proven to help reduce and manage certain health-related conditions such as high blood pressure.
  2. Some older people find exercising with others potentially daunting. Fit 4 Life is a chance for people over the age of 55 to exercise alongside others who are in their age group.
  3. It’s a chance to make friends! At the end of each programme, members are invited to sit back, relax and chat with the rest of the group if they’d like to.
