Circuit Mixx is a workout that combines resistance training with aerobic exercise. When it comes to getting lean and mean in a hurry, it's one of the most effective types of exercise programme. It typically involves a series of exercises, typically 2 – 10, at different stations laid out in a circuit. The circuit includes a series of resistance stations using weights or body weight exercises such as press ups and squats to strengthen and tone your body and cardiovascular stations like shuttle runs and jumping jacks to strengthen your heart and lungs!
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)
This is a fat burning session and is an all ability interval workout with rest and recovery periods. Perfect for both beginners and regular exercisers. This workout is not dancey and is easy to follow.
LBT Mixx (Legs, Bums and Tums)
Legs, Bums & Tums targets womens’ most common problem areas! This is a low impact conditioning class that focuses on re-shaping the lower body and is suitable for all levels of fitness. So if you want great looking legs, a firmer bum and a tighter tum that doesn’t spill over the top of your jeans, this class will do that for you!
Pilates is a system of exercises, which allow you to take control of your mind and your body. It uses smooth flowing movements that tone and stretch your body and increases strength and flexibility in your muscles and joints. It utilises the power of the mind to help with the exercises and to increase harmony between body and mind. Pilates exercises have been designed to work the muscles of the body as efficiently as possible in the minimum time. The low impact exercises treat the body as a whole and are very effective.
Sculpt Mixx is a combination of traditional body sculpting methods using free weights, resistance bands and your own body weight! Sculpt Mixx is low impact and easy to follow making it suitable for all levels of fitness. It is designed to provide you with a total body workout in 45 minutes! .
Step up your fitness with this classic aerobic exercise class. Great choreography and energising music will keep you moving and smiling as you step on and off platforms, with or without risers. Ready to rise to a new challenge? Increase the intensity by adjusting your speed, step height and movements. Dumbbells or a barbell are used in this class to shape and tone your body. This class is set to motivating music and each track targets a different muscle group giving a full body workout.
The Ultimate total body workout, this class includes 20 minutes of cardiovascular conditioning in the form of step, kickboxing, plyometric movements or hi/low aerobics, 20 minutes of strength training using hand held weights, barbells or resistance bands and 20 minutes of core training, (Abdominals and lower back).
Zumba is a GREAT way to lose weight, tone your muscles, increase cardio strength, improve coordination, gain self-esteem and feel HAPPY! That is why so many people love it. Come on in and join the party and fall in LOVE with the music too. Anyone can join in, whatever your level of fitness, you can take it easy at first if you want to.
